A number of new plantings of the RHM mandarin are currently been planted in Queensland.
RHM is a chance seedling from an Ellendale mandarin with fruit maturing in late May to early June in Qld and expected to mature in June/July in the Southern Citrus Growing areas. The RHM has a high orange/red colour internal and skin colour with extremely good eating qualities. The variety is seedless to very low seeded in solid blocks but will have seeds if cross pollinated.
The RHM is protected by Provisional PBR registered in Australia and other overseas countries.
